Music has always been an important part of our Benedictine heritage here at St. Boniface School. Musical literacy is not a luxury, but is fundamental to every human being as it helps develop skills used in all parts of life, including reading and math. Our children have a right to a balanced, comprehensive, and sequential program of music instruction. It has been my privilege to serve God by teaching music at St. Boniface School for the past twenty-five years, helping children learn musical skills and techniques that prepare them for musical worship in the Catholic tradition. My educational background includes a Bachelors’ degree in Music Education from Northeastern State University and a Masters’ degree in Higher Education, also from NSU. I have taught all ages from preschool to college-age students in school and church work. |
