I have been proud to be the principal at St. Boniface since 2003. Coming to St. Boniface was a homecoming of sorts for me, since I attended here Kindergarten through 8th grade. It's also a family tradition, because my grandfather and father both graduated from here as well. I began teaching in 1994, when I took a job as 3rd grade teacher at Christ the King Catholic School here in Ft. Smith. While teaching there, I obtained my Master's Degree in School Counseling, and then accepted a job as an Elementary Counselor with the Ft. Smith Public Schools at Sutton. I worked there four years, and worked on my Administrative licensing at the same time. After I completed my Specialist Degree in Elementary Administration, I was offered a job as Assistant Principal at Tilles Elementary. I worked at Tilles for three years. I finished my Doctoral work in Educational Administration in 2007, and I am happy to be answering to "Dr. Hollenbeck" here at St. Boniface. My own children, Claire (6th grade) and Matthew and Grace Anne (4th grade) attend St. Boniface School, making us a four-generation St. Boniface family. My husband Bill serves as the Sebastian County Sheriff and is "Chief Volunteer" here at school. |
