Hi! My name is Christy Koprovic. I have a special bond & love for St. Boniface, as it was also where I attended elementary school. My mother & grandmother are also graduates of St. Boniface. From there, I graduated from Darby Jr. High & Northside, then I earned my BA from Hendrix College with a degree in English & Middle/High School Education. I taught Middle/High School for a few years until my children were born. Since then, I have returned to school to earn my M.E. in Early Childhood Education. I have completed extensive training in Early Language & Literacy Learning, Early Childhood, and Autism. I am a firm believer in a developmentally-appropriate curriculum (DAP). All students have different strengths and weaknesses that contribute to our classroom environment. We will work to enhance their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses. We will do this in a very upbeat, fun learning environment! I want students to LOVE school!
I have been married for 18 years to a great guy named David. We have a houseful of children: Brittney (15), Travis (15), Brigitte & Bethany (twins, 13), & Olivia (10). Brittney and Travis are in 9th grade at Trinity. Bethany & Brigitte are in 7th grade at Trinity, and Olivia is in 4th grade at St. Boniface. In my "spare" time, I love reading (my favorite activity!), camping, and hanging out with the kids. I look forward to working with you at St. Boniface School! |
